We stayed in Putney for a little weekend assuming we would go into Brat for brunch and breakfasts, but we were so wrong! Putney Diner was so wonderful and delicious . Gluten free options including toast, French toast, and pancakes which is so nice for a gluten free girly like myself!! And they have the yummiest Vermont maple syrup! We went both mornings for the perfect Vermont diner breakfast. The service was so kind and even remembered us from the day before! Highly recommend.

If it happens that you are in the surrounding area you must come here. You'll find a welcoming atmosphere, amazing service and most of all the most delicious food . Then you know the owner of the place, Eleni, and you understand why everything is so special. We would give 6 stars if it was possible

Food was wicked good, although they were out of what I originally was hoping for (which is a good sign for them I guess lol). It did take our group of four 15-20 minutes to get a table even though they had another entire empty dining area just sitting there. IMO There were too many people dealing with our table (3) which led to confusion and lackluster service from my view point. Cool building and great food though.

So first off, this is absolutely NOT a diner in the way I was expecting. We're traveling up north and just stopped somewhere quick for a bite and figured the "Putney Diner" would satisfy our desires. That said, I cannot regret our decision in any way, shape, or form. All the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. The food was incredible. Everything I had may have been the best version of it I've ever had; the best broccoli cheddar soup, the best grilled cheese, and the best fries. I highly recommend this joint.
